As a newly qualified solicitor, you will:
- Advise clients on day-to-day employment matters: contracts, policies, TUPE and restructuring
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, redundancy packages and compromise agreements
- Represent claimants and respondents at employment tribunals, mediations and preliminary hearings
- Handle commercial contract work: shareholder agreements, service terms and dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with AML, GDPR and professional conduct requirements
- Manage budgets, track Work in Progress (WIP) and invoice accurately
- Qualified solicitor (NQ) with strong employment law interest
- Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator, building rapport with clients, counsel and colleagues
- Commercially astute: mindful of costs, profitability and practical solutions
- Team-oriented, yet able to manage your own caseload independently
