- You will also be responsible for promoting our resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers.
- Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.
- Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
- Administering medication.
- Writing and updating care plans and keeping accurate daily records.
- Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times.
- Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
- Minimum of One years’ experience in Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
- Experience conducting and writing effective person-centred One-to-Ones
- Live within 30 minutes of the home
- One years' experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or two years’ experience in Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
- One year’s experience of caring for residents living with dementia
- NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Adult Health and Social Care
- Hold a driving licence
- Well over half our team have a relevant Diploma qualification with another fifth currently studying for one
