Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group*A little about St Andrew's Nursing and Care Home:St Andrew’s is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the East of Sleaford). The home is set around a lovely old vicarage, which has been selectively extended in keeping with its character. This provides the homeliness that Jasmine seeks for its homes, whilst still providing modern living accommodation. The home provides personal care, including nursing and dementia care, for 42 residents.Competencies for Team Leader:

Day to Day Responsibilities for Team Leader:
  • You will also be responsible for promoting our resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers.
  • Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.
  • Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
  • Administering medication.
  • Writing and updating care plans and keeping accurate daily records.
  • Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times.
Essential Requirements for Team Leader:
  • Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3)
  • Minimum of One years’ experience in Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
  • Experience conducting and writing effective person-centred One-to-Ones
  • Live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Requirements for Team Leader:
  • One years' experience working in a similar role in a residential or nursing home; or two years’ experience in Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home
  • One year’s experience of caring for residents living with dementia
  • NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Adult Health and Social Care
  • Hold a driving licence
