- Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
- Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing individual education plans
- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN
- Helping students with SEN to participate in classroom activities
- Assisting with the monitoring and recording of student progress
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- Understanding of different learning needs and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
- SEN teaching assistant qualification
- First aid training
- Work in a classroom setting
- Potential for assisting students with physical disabilities
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Full-time hours, temporary position
