Staff Nurse Leicester Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Part time | Includes weekend work Up to £36 250 Pro Rata depending on skills and experience 15 hours per week You will be working within a team of paediatric nurses looking after children and young people from 1-18 years old. All children admitted to the ward are generally day case surgical procedures, including paediatric surgery, ENT, orthopaedics, dental and maxillo-facial. The Person To succeed as a Children and Young Person's Nurse you will; * Be NMC qualified and have some post registration experience in a surgical ward environment
  • Have various levels of post-registration experience - (preferably in a children's surgical setting)
  • Be an excellent communicator and team worker - plus be flexible and motivated
  • Have the ability to fully understand each patient's needs and provide individual attention
  • Be confident to work autonomously and liaise directly with consultants
  • Experience in Children's nursing with Adult nursing as an advantage
