Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 + 1 in 2 8am - 1.30pm Saturday morningsOur Client, a long established RAC Approved garage group with multiple branches across the London area dealing with all makes of models of vehicles are seeking a Workshop Controller for their All Makes and Models Car Garage in Wimbledon.They are a well-respected automotive business, with multiple sites across the London area, providing a whole range of automotive services such as MOT's, Mechanical Servicing and Repairs, Hybrid and EV servicing.Our Client has a great reputation for creating a friendly working environment, away from the day-to-day pressures of Manufacturers and Dealer Groups. They offer a supportive environment and looking for a responsible Automotive Front of House Manager to join their senior management team.They are seeking individuals who want to be part of a special team for the long-haul, and help ensure that the business offers a stable environment for staff and customers alike.What's in it for you?

- Manage and develop workshop staff in accordance with Company standards.
- Generating profit for the dealership through effective management of vehicle technician hours and productivity
- Managing and coaching a team of vehicle technicians and apprentices, making sure targets and business objectives are met
- Working with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless service for customers
- Scheduling work to meet customer needs, taking into account workshop targets, the complexity of each job and the availability of parts
- Providing estimates for servicing and repairs and setting timescales
- Accurately recording technician time and writing technical reports and recommendations.
- Assisting technicians with technical challenges to identify solutions
- Ordering correct parts for vehicles
- Ensuring warranty standards are adhered to
- Liaising with other departments with regards to parts and any other queries as the workshop representative
- Making sure all servicing work is carried out correctly, competently and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind
- Ensuring that all work complies with DVSA, health and safety and manufacturer policy, as well as company standard
