
UK FSO Deal Activation Pursuit Strategist - Assistant Director - Permanent - London

- Partners with account teams to provide a full-service pursuit management model for UK based strategic, high-end opportunities
- Serves as a facilitator/key contributor in pursuit strategy sessions, manages output and drives actions
- Manages a repository of UK, Market Segment or Service Line client-facing collateral as appropriate
- Develops strategic messaging and lead conceptualisation of all client-facing pursuit collateral
- Manages and leads the development of opportunity value propositions
- Ultimately responsible for quality control of all client-facing materials during the pursuit
- Acts as the knowledge steward for the pursuit
- Leads post pursuit analysis and review; makes recommendations for process improvement
- Maintains relationships with other Deal Activation teams and key interdependency groups across the organisation
- Participates in relevant internal and external networks
- Champions best-practice pursuit management tools and processes
- Solution-oriented and makes sound decisions quickly, given tight timeframes
- Demonstrates versatility in a constantly evolving environment with a wide variety of social styles
- Influences / challenges the account team to optimise the chances of winning
- Works with considerable autonomy while often managing the work of others
- Contributes to the team connectivity between the UK and local country PS' within EMEIA
- Provides coaching and mentoring to others; may serve as a Counsellor to other PS' in the UK and mentor to those in the EMEIA region
- Supports the onboarding and training of new hires in the UK and EMEIA region
- Develops and coaches BD and client servers, through teaming on pursuits and facilitated training
- Oversees the work of the pursuit support team, including any third-party resources (e.g., Pursuit Coordinator, external translation services, etc.)
- As the job involves responding to client needs and varying time zones, we would expect flexibility to accommodate these.
- Two days a week in the office (Canary Wharf)
- Moderate to frequent travel may be required
- Good understanding of Business Development and Pursuit Management
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Pursuit Management experience
- Experience in developing external marketing communications (necessary for Senior PS / advantageous for entry-level PS)
- Experience working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment (necessary for Senior PS / advantageous for entry-level PS)
- Ability to influence without authority, lead and coach others
- Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent project management skills
