This part-time position offers a competitive salary of £29,108.00 per annum (pro-rated to £17,464.80 based on hours worked) and the chance to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment.As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a young person and their family through a combination of virtual sessions, home visits, and community-based activities. Your work will be instrumental in helping the young person achieve their goals and reach their full potential. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines to develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.   • Providing direct support to the young person and their family through virtual sessions, home visits, and community-based activities
  • Assisting in the implementation of therapy programmes and interventions as directed by the lead therapist
  • Monitoring and documenting the young person's progress, reporting any concerns or observations to the appropriate team member
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sessions and interactions
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of individualised treatment plans
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive environment that fosters the young person's growth and development
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Relevant education or experience in a therapy-related field (occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, or psychology)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people and their families
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the young person and their family
