- Handle and process purchase invoices daily
- Regularly maintain and update supplier accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee the accounts email inbox, resolving purchase ledger and invoice queries
- Facilitate weekly and fortnightly payment runs by ensuring precise invoice processing.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
- Address and resolve supplier queries promptly.
- Payment processes and bank reconciliations as required.
- Maintain and improve data capture software, proposing enhancements.
- Assist with credit control, chasing unpaid invoices by building a good rapport with customers.
- Assist with Month End preparation, accruals, journals and prepayments
- Undertake additional ad hoc duties as needed.
- To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience
- Previous experience of working in a similar position as an Accounts Assistant (min 2 years’ experience)
- Excellent communication skills
- Can do attitude and someone who isnt afraid of getting involved in all areas to support the team
- Team player with a confident personality
