- Assessing the resources and material required to meet project implementation targets.
- Self-sufficient in utilising continuous improvement tools independently
- Computer skills in Microsoft office applications, i.e., Word/Excel – (preferred but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and complete tasks effectively.
- Capability to comprehend and execute project plans.
- Building and maintaining productive business relationship internally and external stakeholders
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently.
- Full UK driving License (Mandatory).
- Forklift License desirable (preferred but not mandatory)
- Flexibility to work remotely and offsite at customer locations.
- Resolving discrepancies and addressing customer queries effectively until achieving customer satisfaction
- Three -year warehouse operations experience (preferred)
- Organized with keen attention to detail.
- Valuing good housekeeping and cleanliness and taking the necessary steps to uphold company’s reputation.
- Conducting regular VMI customer audits and VMI system reviews (training will be provided)
- Maybe required to travel and stay overnight to support Project(s) outside of local region.
- You will be on your feet most of the shift.
- Engaging in physical work primarily Logistics Operations, Warehouse Distribution, Project Implementation.
- Tasks include Picking, packing, and shipping.
- Anixter vendor managed system installations involves lifting, decanting, and labelling.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds with or without assistance.
- Employee may need to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
- Employee are required to drive a motor vehicle as part of their job duties.
