Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with our client, a hugely successful SME business based on the south side of Aberdeen, that has developed from startup to be a leading supplier in the UK within their industry. The business is currently about to embark on further expansion, particularly a focus into the US market and as such are keen to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to support the growth.This role will work closely with the Managing Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team across operations, sales, service, warehouse and logistics and have full operational running of the finance function of this growing SME business.The business is currently forecasting growth of 40%+ for 2024 and are about to open operations in the US over the summer, this is an exciting time to join, learn, understand and contribute to the future success of the organisation.Key responsibilities are:
  • Ensure all financial reporting requirements are met with full compliance
  • Management accounts pack preparation with P&L and Balance Sheet review
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Sales Forecasting
  • Analysis - Margins, Overheads, Sales and Cash flow etc.
  • VAT Returns (quarterly)
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Fixed Assets processing depreciations
  • Manage and monitor Debtor, Creditor and Nominal Controls
  • Foreign currency - monitor rates, review currency purchases, reconcile currency accounts
  • Year-end Taxation - PAYE, NIC, P11D etc.
  • Finance ad hoc duties - monthly pension reports; company liability insurances; utility contracts
  • Manage a small but experienced team, motivate and support the team with any learning and development required
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant or current Finance Manager who is looking for a role that with grow in responsibility and influence across the business i.e. will have personal growth to Controller/Director level.Ideally, you will be qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), however consideration will be given to candidates who can show similar experience at Finance Manager level over last 5 years.
