We offer excellent opportunities to undertake further training and progress your career.It would be an advantage to have Volkswagen Group Franchise training and knowledge of the Kerridge and Volkswagen systems. A full clean driving licence is required as the role will involve the test driving of vehicles.The successful candidate would be responsible for the workshop efficiencies and training, development and motivation of the service team, along with distribution of work.Liaising with the sales department you will be responsible for ensuring all sales vehicles are prepared for delivery in line with company guidelines and sales targets.The role will involve speaking to customers and having good strong product knowledge and customer relation skills, some mechanical work will be involved.You will work in a friendly and dynamic environment, receiving a full induction and ongoing support.   • To ensure efficient workshop use of materials, equipment and labour resources.
  • To ensure service and repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards, achieving total customer satisfaction.
  • To actively retain all available business by consulting and co-operating with reception staff, and service manager.
  • To work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times
  • Organise the workshop by controlling job start and finishing times and to be aware of the status of each job at all times
  • Ensure the Workshop tools and equipment are in good working order
  • Responsible for the security of the building
  • Ensure all job cards are completed correctly and be ultimately responsible for shop floor discipline
  • To liaise with all Technicians and the Manager in respect of any quality / training issues
