Job responsibilitiesYou will be expected to:
- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to older adults with mental health needs, across Havering.
- Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical
- Provide guidance and supervision to the
- Work directly with older adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers, and acute
- Work alongside the 5.1wte Consultant Psychiatrists, 1wte Senior Trainee, and 2wte Core Trainee within the service and share clinical supervision requirements with them.
- Develop links already established with the local acute trusts A& E departments and inpatient wards.
- Be responsible for patients allocated to them and will assess, manage, plan, and deliver care.
- Support your peers and the team manager and be an effective team member whilst working on their own initiative.
- Supervise junior colleagues and liaise with other health and social professionals and agencies.
