Based in central London, with many convenient travel connections. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working on hospitality and residential projects from start to finish, strong with AutoCAD, in-depth FF&E experience and confident in a client-facing role.Middleweight Interior Designer Job Description
  • Comfortably explore imaginative concepts and provide development at appropriate project stages
  • Possess a strong understanding of current trends in the interior design industry
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of various materials and their suitability for diverse applications
  • Develop and present comprehensive conceptual design presentations to support the senior design team and creative director
  • Generate detailed technical drawings and complete tender packages using essential tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of FF&E selection, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement
  • Collaborate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel for seamless project execution
  • Showcase a keen eye for design and enthusiasm as a team player to succeed in this role
  • The role is open to candidates legally eligible to work in the UK
Skills Necessary for this Middleweight Interior Designer Role
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in luxury Hospitality/ Residential Interior Design in the UK
  • Excellent SketchUp skills, especially in developing concepts
  • Full proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign is essential
  • Advantageous to have hand sketching skills
  • Knowledge of UK regulations, project stages, and hospitality standards
  • Strong supplier and product knowledge, including FF&E and finishes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work closely and efficiently with clients and manufacturers
  • Experience in client-facing roles is a bonus
  • A degree in Interior Design is a must
