- Conduct comprehensive market research on the Cloud Hosting and Data Centre sectors to identify opportunities, trends, challenges and relevant industry groups for networking purposes.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking events, online platforms, and prospecting.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers in Cloud Hosting companies and Data Centres.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Cloud Hosting Companies and Data Centres to understand their needs and challenges.
- Analyse competitors and market dynamics to develop strategies for differentiating our offerings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within the Cloud Hosting and Data Centre sectors
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline within a CRM, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Maintaining and growing your product knowledge through regular research.
- An interest or affinity with the Tech industry.
- Proven experience in a sales development role, with a track record of successfully opening new doors and generating opportunities within the Cloud Hosting and Data Centre sector.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
- Proficiency in various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking.
- Demonstrated ability to research and identify potential leads, understand their needs, and tailor outreach efforts accordingly.
- A results-driven mindset, with the ability to meet and exceed targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage leads effectively.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimise lead generation strategies.
