As a Roof Truss Designer, responsibilities include:
- Preparation of detailed truss and joist drawings
- Ensure accuracy of specifications and documentation for manufacturing team
- Working closely with colleagues to provide effective solutions
For the role of Roof Truss Designer there is on offer:
- A salary of between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum
- Company Pension
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
- On-site parking
As a Roof Truss Designer, you must have/be:
- Ideally 3 years plus experience of Wolf design software
- Experience in other industry-standard software considered (e.g Gang-Nail/Mi-Tek as conversion option available)
- In depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction materials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable
- Knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
- Understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Willing to learn new design packages
- Full UK driving licence essential due to our location
