Additionally there is onsite accommodation for 70 staff.We offer our guests luxury, fun and unique experiences that connect with our environment.Our teams are full of people with knowledge, passion and personality.Our Maintenance TeamThe Maintenance team is made up of dedicated, skilled trade professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of service across our property and estate portfolio for all stakeholders. The team excels in delivering a responsive, preventative, and progressive maintenance service. The team are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and customer service.The Maintenance team at Langdale Hotel and Spa are proud to be part of creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for guests throughout their stay and beyond.Main Purpose of the Role:To work as part of a Team as a Maintenance Fitter, providing a measured and professional service to all stakeholders; encompassing reactive, preventative, and progressive maintenance across the Langdale Estate.Our primary focus is to meet our health and safety commitments and business needs by executing programmed preventative maintenance, conducting scheduled checks; ensuring both reactive and proactive maintenance is a given. We also form an integral part of the fire response team.Main Duties:
  • Compliance checks – Health & safety, fire alarms, emergency lighting, Legionella etc.
  • Reactive/proactive maintenance – as a duty fitter responding to work orders raised daily.
  • Planned maintenance – as part of a Team, deliver a scheduled programme of maintenance of properties and facilities across the whole Estate through the year.
  • To work as part of a team to deliver the best possible guest experience.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate should
  • be multiskilled and have a trade background – Electrical, Plumbing, Joinery, Building
  • demonstrate an understanding of general maintenance tasks, safety regulations, and compliance policies.
  • demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • demonstrate a diligent attention to detail, problem solving, and innovation.
  • focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • be adaptable and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • hold a full UK driving license.
