- Hours: Full or part time, 2 to 4 days per week
- Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends
- OOH: On a rota

- The role will involve providing care to both hospitalised and ambulatory cases
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients
- Small animal work can be created also should the Vet wish to have a small animal caseload
- Flexible rota patterns are available to suit lifestyle commitments
- Established mixed animal hospital
- Equine facilities include 4 stables, exam halls and stocks. Along with DR radiography, gastroscopy, ultrasound and more.
- They are fully equipped Hospital with all the toys and facilities including 6 consulting room, in house laboratory, separate cat and dog waiting areas, 4 theatres with radiography, endoscopy, dental and ultrasound suites. Access to CT imaging and hydro therapist.
- They boast large team across all sites and have 4 Equine Vets.
- Certificate holding Surgeons in various specialities including exotics, surgery, medicine, cardiology and behaviour.
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
- Main Hospital is located in Morpeth with accessible transport links to Newcastle.

- The practice are open to various levels of experience and can support either a newly graduated Vet looking to benefit and gain access to more experience knowledge or a senior Vet who is looking to develop a skill
- The role can be altered to suit the right Vet whereby specialities can be focused on
- The Vet will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
- The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
- The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care
- Salary: Up to £55,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
- CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 40 hours to attend
- Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
