Due to continued growth and expansion plans, our client is offering an opportunity for an additional experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their team of production technicians. They require someone with a professional approach to work who possesses the drive and energy to contribute to a flexible, fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall performance and growth of both companies. The role requires you to be:
- Experienced in TIG welding (MIG advantageous)
- Able to produce work of a high standard within given time constraints
- Good with your attendance and timekeeping record
- Be open to new ideas and make a positive contribution to the team
- Experienced with small component fabrication in 1.5mm to 3mm wall thickness - desirable
- Achieving the daily planned production schedule
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the workshop
- Record job times and attach job sheet to finished parts in allocated area
- Contribute to continuous improvement by highlighting any areas needed for further development and finding solutions with the team
- Ensure all Health & Safety rules are adhered to and that the working environment is kept clean and tidy
- Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings
- Participate in performance reviews to enhance self-development
For the role of Senior Welder / Fabricator there is on offer:
- A salary of £13.00 to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime available after initial training (at 1½ x rate)
- Staff uniform (including PPE)
- Daytime work only, 42 hours per week with a choice of 2 shift patterns Mon-Fri
- 28 days holidays including bank holidays, (increases with service).
