- Lead and supervise a large team during night shifts, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage the preparation of chilled high-end food products, including rice and component preparation, in readiness for daytime production.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous development among team members.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the night shift, escalating as needed to senior management.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in a chilled food production environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including two non-consecutive nights off per week.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
