As an Account Manager, your main responsibility is to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals for an assigned portfolio of interpreting accounts.ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities as an Account manager at Acolad UK Ltd will be to:
  • Manage a portfolio of UK active clients and work as a team with other members of the sales and production departments
  • Build a strong relationship with current accounts to generate business with new departments, ask for referrals and to make contact with senior-level decision makers
  • Create and maintain sales plans and sales activities targeted at reactivating old client accounts and generating new business through new relationships
  • Cross-sell other Acolad UK Ltd services where appropriate
  • Formulate direct marketing campaigns for active and inactive clients and generate ideas for more sophisticated marketing campaigns for the central marketing team to produce
  • Become an expert in your client verticals and understand the needs of clients that are particular to the type of business sector they are in
  • Handle incoming enquiries with responsibilities including discovery about the client and their project requirements, liaising with Production to produce the most suitable solutions to enable a client’s vision, quoting, negotiating, ongoing support communication throughout and after their project and invoicing.
  • Become an expert in and knowledgeably speak about interpretation and related services. This includes learning about the technologies and the solutions used to deliver our service and being able to explain complex solutions to clients in a way that they understand
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn new technical processes in the language services and live events industries and be able to articulate these with confidence
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Account Manager Role, preferably for a Language Service Provider or Events Production Company
  • Experience working as an Account Manager or Client Facing Project Manager within the Interpretation, Translation or Events Industries is highly beneficial
  • Experience managing clients and client projects in an international business environment
  • Customer service focus with a strong commercial acumen
  • Motivated and enthusiastic, with a key attention to detail and a results-driven mentality
  • An excellent communicator, with demonstrable ability to understand and explain complex ideas
  • Hardworking, dedicated, flexible and friendly; we are looking for people with the ability to lead the business in the future.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritizing skills with the ability to be calm, polite and professional in any situation
  • Be a real team player, willing to help with complex tasks, with a bright, positive attitude.
