Geo-Environmental Project Manager
Location: South of EnglandQualifications:
2-3 years of relevant experience
MSc (MSc preferable)
Working towards Chartered Status (preferable)Roles and Responsibilities:
Summary: This role is accountable for assisting in the delivery of ground investigation services in the South of England. The position involves technical, operational, health and safety, and financial project management. It also includes participation in business development, on-site project management, soil logging, and in-situ testing.
Project Management and Technical Excellence:·Assist in the coordination and execution of ground investigations.
·Manage contracts to ensure the timely delivery of projects and maximize profits.
·Contribute expertise and input into the planning stage of new projects.
·Actively work towards gaining chartership qualifications.
·Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
Communication and People Management:
·Maintain effective communication with clients.
·Foster open communication with the Regional Manager and other staff.
·Build effective working relationships with technical specialists within the organization.
·Manage time effectively for both billable and non-billable hours.
·Work with the Regional Manager to develop personal objectives.
·Participate in professional growth opportunities and contribute to team development.
Maintenance and Development of Management Systems and Business Development:
·Execute geo-environmental business development strategy.
·Contribute to management plans to enhance company performance and profitability.
·Leverage personal and professional networks to grow business opportunities.
·Support the maintenance of quality, environmental, and health and safety accreditations.
Monitoring and Auditing:
·Assist the Regional Manager in monitoring contractual and assurance performance.
·Ensure compliance with company management systems and procedures.
Access to Information:
·Keep electronic access to relevant projects up to date.
·Adhere to detailed responsibilities in the procedures outlined in Section 3.0.
·Ensure the update of Contract Delivery Key Performance Indicators.
