Job DescriptionBank Health Care Assistant - Theatres | The Oaks Hospital | Bank HoursWe are currently seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our busy Theatre. We welcome applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic Health Care Assistants who are committed to providing excellent customer service. Good communication skills, ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and flexibility to meet the changing needs of the business are essential. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is also required.The RoleThe successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and be flexible with their work patterns. The role will be varied with the successful candidate working closely with the Registered Nurses and consultants, to provide a safe and caring environment for our patients.Where you’ll be basedLocated conveniently on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened on this site in 1994, with plenty of free parking for patients.What you’ll bring with you
  • NVQ level 2 or prepared to train to this level
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous Theatre experience
  • A flexible and positive attitude
