Astute’s Power team is partnering with an Energy from Waste provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Fuel Reception Operative for its Oxfordshire site.The Fuel Reception Operative role comes with a salary of up to £34,000 + benefits.If you’re a Fuel Reception Operative and are looking to work for an organisation that puts integrity and people at the forefront of everything it does, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and dutiesReporting to the Shift Team Leader you will:· Support the Shift Technician with the safe and efficient operation of the plant during normalised running hours and also during start-up/shut-down procedures.· Conduct regular site inspections/walk rounds to ensure the plant is operating as intended.· Report of incidents in a timely manner· Carry out first line maintenance.· Drive and operating a range of mobile plant including forklift trucks, front loading shovel and excavators etc.· Ensure compliance with the Environmental Permit and H&S LegislationProfessional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:· Ideally an engineering related qualification at C&G/NVQ/ONC level. Royal Navy Junior Engineers would also be a good fit ET/LET level.· Experience working in a heavy process environment such as Power Station, Biomass, Aggregate/Tarmac/Cement Works, Steel Works, Paper Mill etc.· Experience in the operation of mobile plant would be an advantage.· Experience working to Safe Systems of Work/Safety RulesSalary and benefits of the Fuel Reception Operative role· A salary up to circa £34,000 + shift allowance· Company benefits including a pension.· A performance related bonus· The chance to join the growing EFW industry.
