Qualifications
Essential
- Full Registration with the GDC
- Bachelor in Dental Surgery or equivalent
- Proven maintenance of postgraduate continuing professional development
- Certificate for Safeguarding (Child and Adult)
- ILS and PLS Certification
- Post-graduate qualification, demonstrating an appropriate clinical skill
- Membership of a professional organisation/learned society relating to the clinical skill
- UK-accredited Vocational Training or equivalency
Essential
- Recent NHS experience in CDS/Salaried Service and/or GDS experience
- All aspects of general dentistry
- Provision of care to patients of all ages
- Other dental disciplines
- Domiciliary and/or dental mobile environments
- Assessing and treating vulnerable patients with special clinical needs and/or challenging behaviour
- Development of Dental Care Professionals
- EDS or Safety Net provision
- Experience in Inhalation Sedation
- Experience providing care under General Anaesthetic
- Experience of other forms of sedation or anxiety control
- Assessment of patients for treatment under GA
