- Type: Small animal
- Hours: Full or part time, 20 to 40 hours per week
- Weekends: Weekends on-call on a rota
- OOH: 1 in 4 nights on-call, inpatient care only
- Computer system: Merlin
- Consultations: 15 minutes
- Team: 6 vets, 4 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 VCA and a supportive non-clinical team
- The role will be a mixture of consultations and surgery.
- The role can be adapted to suit the candidate. EG: Can be a consultation role only and there is a certificate holder in medicine to assist and if a bias for surgery then there is a certificate holder in surgery who can help advance skills.
- They offer 15 minute consultations.

- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.
- First opinion Veterinary Practice Small and Equine Practice.
- Beautiful location in a small village close to Crewe with access to transport links and all local amenities.
- The practice is equipped with a wide range of diagnostics, laboratory and surgical and hospitalisation facilities including ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment and endoscope.
- They have a great local reputation and pride themselves on the communication in terms of client care that they provide. They have a large and loyal client base with many clients who have worked with them for more than 20 years.
- With the various levels of expertise within the practice they can offer a plethora of various cases and ongoing learning and development opportunities. They are able to support certificates.
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
- The practice boast a close knit team and regularly enjoy drinks in the pub on a Friday!

- Salary: Up to £65,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
- CPD: Generous allowance of £1,250 with 40 hours to attend
