Eleven are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing Carbon Capture technology start-up, who have developed an exciting next-generation carbon capture system, which will be critical in the fight against climate change.With investment and industry partnerships secured, the company continues scaling its technology; building infield pilots, and showcasing the exciting potential of its ultra-energy efficient capture system to help decarbonise many hard-to-abate industries, turbocharging their pathway to Net-Zero.As the company is entering an exciting growth phase, they are now looking an experienced, technically minded Engineering Manager, to play a key role in the design of delivery of pilot units, as they move towards commercial application.As well as an industry leading salary and equity stake in the company, they are prepared to offer a full relocation package to support a full-time move, or alternatively consider a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office a week, for those unable to commit to relocation from mainland UK.You Will
  • Manage a dedicated group of subject matter experts and oversee the work of external partners, to develop and deliver the engineering for our ground-breaking modular technology.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved with designs that are fit for purpose and match the requirements of target industries and geographies.

  • Provide a consistent approach to technical bid evaluations, leading to successful selection of external engineering and fabrication partners.
  • Enhance the breadth of the company's engineering capabilities, ensuring consistency of approach and best practice across our engineering activities.
About You
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Broad industry experience and understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering issues.
  • Experience in managing an engineering team to deliver against project objectives, leading to effectively prioritise work and meet key project deadlines
  • Knowledge of dynamic gas separation technologies and CO2 removal systems is highly desirable.
  • Openness and understanding of what it means to scale technologies.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up environment requiring flexibility and pragmatism.
