- Working with Phlo’s Modern Data Stack infrastructure to design, develop and maintain queries, models, reports, and visualisations.
- Working with an analytics engineer to ensure data is transformed to align with internal governance standards.
- Expert use of SQL, Python, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, github and other tooling to deliver data-driven outcomes.
- Managing day-to-day Data team tasks and deliverables.
- Leading data analytics projects to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Acting as point of contact for enquiries about Phlo’s datasets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data and insights.
- Guiding and directing product, design and engineering teams on best practices for data management.
- Positively influencing the design of in-house data collection systems and data analytics strategies.
- Interpreting data, analysing results, surfacing trustworthy insights and providing ongoing reporting.
- Deploying techniques to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
- Curiosity, you want to understand how something works and you’ll be looking continuously for new ways to extract value from our data and help your colleagues to make better decisions
- Critical thinking, so that using your data, you can work out what’s really going on and how we can improve things
- Excellent communication skills, as you’ll translate insights from data into articulate, clear and measurable actions and decisions for everyone in our business
- Coder, you’ll write SQL and Python like a professional developer and you’re always looking for ways to make it more efficient
- Authority, you’ll know your statistics and analytical methods inside out, it’s how you demonstrate your craft after all
- Manager, as you’ll be building and running the team that builds and runs Phlo’s data supply chain
- Forward-looking, you’ll keep an eye on what’s coming down the line

- Salary between £44,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
