We pride ourselves on our commitment to the health and well-being of pets, and we're seeking a talented Veterinary Surgeon to join our team working both on-site and conducting Remote ConsultsAbout the RoleAs a Veterinary Surgeon in our fantastic Swansea Pet Hospital, you'll have the opportunity to work both on-site at our state-of-the-art facility and remotely, providing consultations to pet owners across the UK. You'll be at the forefront of veterinary medicine, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients and clients.Key Responsibilities:Conduct consultations, examinations, and surgeries on-site at our Pet Hospital.
Provide remote consultations via telemedicine platforms, offering expert advice and guidance to pet owners.
Collaborate with our team of veterinary professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.Qualifications:Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
Proven experience in small animal medicine and surgery.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable with technology and proficient in using telemedicine platforms for remote consultations.Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.
