The market-listed group of companies employs about 95,000 people in 27 countries and generated consolidated sales of EUR 5.1 billion in 2022.The UK business operates from Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire and employs around 330 people.QualificationsCustomer Interface Planner (Customer Services) JLR and Aston MartinLocation: Newcastle under LymeYour Tasks/ Responsibilities:· Manages day to day customer service for selected customers· Co-ordinates day to day operations between the Distribution Centre, customers, production facilities and third party logistics.· Processes customer orders on behalf of the production facilities for selected customers.· Analyses customer schedules against agreed contracts· Negotiates potential solutions for any deviations of schedules· Monitors availability of required finished goods and escalates emergency measures if required· Supports implementation of customers terms, conditions and standards, including customer specific processes· Monitors actual costs & implements actions to reach costs targets· Monitors customer satisfaction and coordinates actions in case of deviationsYour Profile:· Ideally educated to A Level or equivalent in a relevant discipline· Proven planning experience ideally within the automotive industry· Proven experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers· Ability to work in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines· Excellent IT skills especially use of Excel.
