Our client is a fast-growing independent corporate finance boutique specialising in the Consumer sectors of consumer products, leisure and retail. The company is looking to recruit at the associate level to support our increasing workload.

The role:

Working in small teams on both transaction execution and marketing across all our Consumer sectors.

Expected to play a key role in the execution of transactions including dealing with clients, under the supervision of a senior member of the team including:

Planning and process management. Liaising with lawyers, accountants, and other relevant parties. Advanced financial modelling and valuation. Production of Information Memoranda and other transaction-related documents (e.g. offer letters, board papers, exit papers). Expected to lead the production of marketing presentations with the input of senior members of the team including: Sector trends and dynamics. Strategic options and identification of M&A opportunities. Valuation and financial analysis. Training, managing and delegating to analysts as required.

The successful applicant will have a strong academic background, with strong analytical and financial modelling skills. You will have a background in M&A either in a leading investment bank or boutique. You must have strong communication skills and have had exposure to a variety of transactions with a UK focus.
