* Prepare the UK and Group consolidations. This includes analysing and agreeing intra-group and company transactions * Prepare the monthly/quarterly accounts for various subsidiaries * Assist in the preparation of quarterly group reporting packs * Analytical review of Balance Sheet and P&L * Liaise with taxation manager and provide information for preparation of corporation tax returns * Review and, where necessary, prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts * Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly board papers * Assist in the preparation of the annual financial statements for UK, Holding and various subsidiaries
Qualifications and skills required:
* Newly qualified ACA / ACCA with good academic record. * A thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and the ability to analyse requirements. * A good understanding of banking and the accounting treatment of various banking and treasury products; * Highly developed analytical, communication and organisational skills; * Good IT skills
