Description:
A Bedfordshire based local authority has an urgent requirement for an Enforcement Officer to cover an interim period. The contract length is still negotiable and a competitive hourly rate is on offer.
The purpose of the role will be to lead and coordinate minerals and waste planning enforcement in order to ensure that development is undertaken in a controlled manner and in a way that does not give rise to undue harm to the environment. You will be expected to prepare and present evidence at public enquiries or in court to support action taken and maintain a schedule of site monitoring, complaints and enforcement.
You are expected to hold a minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role.
