Flying High Playscheme
Flying High Playscheme is the Borough’s Holiday Playscheme for children & young people aged 5-17 years with disabilities or other additional requirements.
The Playscheme aims to operate:
Summer 2008 – Monday 28 July to Friday 29 August
October 2008 – Monday 27 October to Friday 31 October
February 2009 – Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February
Spring 2009 – Monday 6 April to Thursday 9 April and Tuesday 14 April to Friday 17 April
The Early Years & Childcare Service is committed to delivering all aspects of the Government’s Sure Start agenda and the Childcare Act 2006, bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support.
We are seeking motivated individuals who will use their initiative to organise and engage children in fun play activities. If you are committed to high quality childcare and would like to join the Flying High Playscheme team, then we would like to hear from you.
Successful candidates will be added to the bank of staff from which the team is selected for each holiday.
Qualified to Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, Playwork or equivalent, you will work alongside the Site Leader whilst acting as a positive role model and when required, you will deputise for the Site Leader.
