Company Description
Capital Training was originally set up to specialize in the roofing sector of the construction industry, with all assessors coming direct from the roofing sector and therefore we were able to offer NVQ qualifications for all roofing disciplines. Our centre has now expanded the qualifications we offer, from level 1 (New entrant) to level 4 in management for several occupations and are accredited as a national training provider for CITB, City & Guilds and Edexcel through out the United Kingdom.
All assessors are trade specific and are qualified in the routes they assess, with a substantial amount of experience and knowledge of their given trade.
Our emphasis is on quality and therefore pride ourselves in the standard of assessment we offer both customers and candidates alike.
Main Responsibilities
Due to expansion we currently have vacancies for both Full-time & Part-time Construction assessors or trainee assessors (Nationwide), and training centre based tutors (Cardiff Training Centre Only), however we require assessors from everywhere
We are a leading Construction NVQ assessment company based in Wales, however with offices in other areas we operate throughout the United Kingdom.

Description:
If you are occupationally competent in Site supervision or Contract Manager and would like a change in career, then you should consider becoming a qualified Site supervisor / Contracts Manager assessor.
You will be assessing experienced supervisors / managers who require a qualification. The work is carried out within the workplace against City & Guilds standards for the achievement of an occupational NVQ level 3 or 4.
Skills and Experience
Qualified Assessors:
No minimal experience as you would already be a professional in your trade specific.
Trainee Assessors:
Extensive experience within your trade specific however you will be in-house trained.
Training Centre Based Tutors:
Should have minimal A1 or a PGCE qualification, however you will be in-house trained.
As we operate throughout the United Kingdom (based in Cardiff), you may be based in any of the surrounding areas, as you would still be required to travel to assessment areas. As there's traveling involved you would require to also have your own transport.
Benefits
Benefits include - mileage allowance (Assessors), Hotel bills inc meals (Assessors), uniform (Everyone), Bonus (Assessors & trainee Assessors). All departments within Capital Training are subject to a monthly £100 and a quarterly £500 bonus upon getting the highest Key Performance Indicator (KPI) score.
Shift Information
Regular work days are Mon - Fri, could sometimes include Saturdays however depends on assessor - 08:30am - 5pm however when travelling you may be expected to leave earlier and till later. Tutors Mon - Fri - 08:30 - 5pm. |
