The Project Manager will form part of the Change Management team that supports the Executive Team in the overall management of projects and small changes, from idea to implementation. The successful applicant will take responsibility for projects from initial idea and analysis (Inception), through the project lifecycle (Definition, Implementation and Closure) to ultimately handover to business as usual. The role-holder will be expected to work closely with Centres, IT and other support areas to achieve optimum solutions, minimise risk and drive up overall effectiveness and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to help shape the future direction of the change management function and help achieve a controlled and consistent operational model.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (or working towards) and have a proven track record within a project or change management role. The organisation uses Prince2 as its foundation for Project Management therefore exposure to Prince2 would be a distinct advantage. You will poses first class communication and analytical skills and be able to influence internal stake holders. The organisation has multiple sites therefore you will be required to travel across the UK and a flexible approach to working hours may be necessary.
