Senior Software Engineer C C++ Symbian C C++ Symbian C C++
As a member of a growing multinational company, your task will be to work as a member of project teams developing software for our client's customers. Although there are an ever increasing number of projects based in their Cheshire offices, many of their projects are based on customers' sites both inside and outside the UK and so a degree of flexibility and willingness to travel would be needed as part of this role.
Essential Experience:
•Batchelors degree 2:1 or higher, ideally in software engineering or related subject. Alternatively a computer science based Masters degree may be considered. Courses that include mobile technology related courses would be a distinct advantage.
•Excellent software development skills in C or C++.
•Good understanding of object-oriented design.
•Ability to solve problems and sufficient independence to source solutions to problems with limited guidance.
•Experience in the full software development life cycle.
•Experience of dealing with clients in particular relating technical issues to peers and non-technical management
•Good communication skills.
•Ability to work as a productive member of a development team.
Desired Skills:
•Symbian Accreditation or Microsoft Certification.
•Familiarity with related mobiles technologies such as WAP, GPRS, GSM, networking protocols.
•Secure computing or embedded software development.
•Knowledge of UML and software such as Rational Rose.
•Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio.
•Knowledge of wireless computing industry
Salary:
The salary range for the above position is commensurate with relevant experience and the degree of flexibility in your work location.

Travel:
Candidates must be prepared to travel and work away, as projects demand. The period and nature of which will be gauged by the project and experience.
