The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both the Finance Controller & Finance Director, in provision of management information across the business, in particular, in a wide range of areas as outlined below to better understand and control the business.
Who we're looking for
• Divisional level reporting and analysis including:
- Assist in setting of all reporting timetables to allow level review of forecasts and budgets;
- Aggregation of results for management review - actual, forecast and budgets;
- Development of templates and reports required by divisional management;
- Analysis of divisional results and co-ordination of investigations and responses by Controllers.
- Control month end process for the division and provide link to group finance. E.g. reconciliation of reserves, allocations and management charges across the division.
- Dealing with business acquisitions /disposals
• Divisional Reporting Systems Development and Implementation including:
- Business Objects / Coda developments;
- Divisional budgeting system;
- Assist in being the voice of the division on all financial systems and reporting structure issues.
- Group consolidation system reporting /development
• Development of divisional management reporting -e.g.KPI's /Capex
• Control of UK headcount reporting.
• Control of Capex reporting and authorization process.
• Overview control of inter-company balances within the Division - balance sheet and profit and loss account.
• Responsible for the reporting and financial review of overseas divisional entities Asia Pacific (Singapore), Malaysia, China, India and Netherlands.
