Institutional research and specialist agency brokerage seek an Energy Analyst to join our rated team, and a Convertibles Analyst to work with Huw Leyshon.

Our research covers Energy (E&P, and Services on a selective Global basis), UK small & mid cap, and all Quoted Scottish Companies. We also cover Specialty Finance and Investment Trusts.

We are seeking an Energy Analyst (Oil & Gas, Support Services, Alternatives) to join our rated team, and a Convertibles Analyst to join Huw Leyshon on the ground floor of our building out this coverage. The positions will report to Partner level in the firm and ultimately train to become principals of the firm in the Research Team.

We would expect candidates to be MSc (Inv Analysis) qualified, or graduating in 2008, or progressing through CFA and already be working in a Regulated entity on the buy or sell side. Support to complete relevant examinations will be given.

We would also like to hear from individuals with an appropriate background in Corporate Broking, either having serviced corporate clients, or indeed operated within corporates themselves.

Our close proximity to Edinburgh will lead to an office opening in due course and we would like to hear from teams or individuals with proven track records in operating in a dispersed geographical model. London based teams and candidates will also be considered and infrastructure provided.
